What is a Resin Surface?
Resin bonded (sometimes called scattercoat) is designed to resemble the texture and appearance of loose gravel. It is the process of scattering loose dried aggregates onto a coating of resin after the resin has been applied to a surface. Resin bound is the process of mixing dried aggregates with the resin. The resulting material is trowelled onto the base for a smooth, flat finish with no loose gravel.
